Valerie Yorker holds a BS in Psychology from Penn State University, University Park, PA and MSW from Columbia University, NY, NY. She is both an IIC and IIH in the Perform Care system of care.  She provides both individual and group therapy.  The population of individuals Valerie has provided therapy services for include working with the mentally ill, dual diagnosed, DDD population, ER assessments, inpatient, outpatient, partial care, RTC level of care, and incarcerated individuals. Her experience includes but is not limited to the assessment and diagnosis of youth, adults and families. Valerie Yorker has experience with developing and implement therapeutic interventions and treatment plans with goals and objectives along with education culture and recreation.

The services Valerie provides are discharge planning, case management services that included referring youth and families for services as needed and deemed appropriate, individual, family and group counseling. She also provides monthly reports to the court on substance abuse/dependence progress and recommendations for continued services.

 

Valerie is passionate about developing and implementing programs including, but not limited to, promoting therapy services that are educational cultural and recreational.

Valerie is a Certified Clinical Supervisor with  supervisory experience in customer service. She is an experienced developer working with youth and adults from both DDD and DVR, which included job placement services for the mentally ill, mentally challenged and brain-injured populations. Valerie has familiarity with both DDD and DYFS licensing procedures and agency policies. She has experience working with juveniles incarcerated in Juvenile Justice Commission and adults incarcerated in a maximum security facility such as Rahway State Prison in NJ.

Treatment modalities include but are not limited to : Play therapy, CBT, Solution focused therapy, therapeutic games, role playing, modeling, art therapy, music therapy and guided imagery. Valerie's therapy style is to start with understanding where the individual is at and see what works best for them.

Ailene Espiritu received her Bachelors in Psychology at Montclair State University and her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Columbia University, Teacher's College. Ailene has a wide range of experience working in various work settings including outpatient and residential settings.

 

Ailene’s counseling style is person-centered and strengths-based that creates an open and safe space where people can feel safe exploring their thoughts and feelings without judgment. Ailene believes that every person's story is their own and with this philosophy in mind, she works with helping people to develop their own unique meaningful life skills and experiences. Ailene is diligently committed to the betterment and well-being of all those with whom she works with.

Natan Schneider-Gans MA, LPC

Natan Schneider-Gans is a  Licensed Professional Counselor that specializes in treating individuals in a Systems modality. Natan currently assists individuals in meeting their personalized goals through evidenced based interventions that match the presented needs. Natan has experience in supporting individuals, couples, and families. Currently, Natan provides support for caretakers and families in meeting their own needs, while they provide support for those within their care.

Kimberly went to Montclair State University where she received her MA in Counseling. She specializes in working with clients with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and communication issues. Kimberly has worked with clients ranging from as young as 5 to adults in their 70's. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy. Kimberly work with clients to change their way of thinking which helps change their behavior. Kimberly creates a warm and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable expressing their feelings and emotions and are able to work on accomplishing their goals.

Chelsea Jenkins is a Licensed Associate Counselor in New Jersey and also a Nationally Certified Counselor. Chelsea graduated in 2017 with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rider University.

 

Chelsea began her experience at a children’s and adolescent residential home focusing on family attachment and trauma. Following her experience with residential treatment, Chelsea worked in a public school outpatient clinic working with a wide range of populations ranging from children to adults. 

 

Chelsea utilizes an integrated approach of trauma-informed care to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for clients and a  person-centered therapy to develop a healthy and secure rapport with clients.

Tanesha is a Licensed Social Worker and received her MSW from Delaware State University.

Chelsea received her masters in social worker at Cappella University. She has worked in behavioral health field for 10 plus year, with adults, children, and adolescents in various capacities. Chelsea takes a humanistic approach in working with her clients and has specialized interest in anger management, mindfulness, and caregiver stress.

Jillian Charles, BA

Jillian is sympathetic and compassionate towards people she works with. She is a high-energy person that enjoys trying new things and coming up with fresh ideas. Jillian is always prepared to listen to people and offer assistance in any issue by working with coworkers and friends to find the best positive answer. Jillian's specialization is in working with teenagers who have experienced trauma, anxiety, or have oppositional deficiency.

Allison received her BSW from Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, KY and is currently working on her MSW at Rutgers University, NJ.

Allison's expertise is in working with child and adolescent mental health. Allison also specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). 

 

She is passionate about working with youth and promoting a better future for everyone she works with. Allison is of the conviction that we can change our world for the better through how we treat our youth.

Andre Matthews, BA

Behavioral Assistant at Mackie and Pammie, LLC

It is undeniable that Andre has an impressive background in communication skills. He is pursuing an A.A. in Communications from Rowan College of New Jersey while also enrolled in a B.A. Program for Mass Communications. His experience serving in the United States Army as a Rifleman and Army Resilience Trainer Assistant allowed him to deliver resilience training and workshops to military personnel and their families. Furthermore, as a Special Needs Personal Trainer, he provided exceptional training and support for individuals with special needs. As a Mental Health Technician for children and adolescents, Andre assessed, evaluated, and provided therapeutic support for individuals with mental health concerns. His crisis support skills, therapeutic interventions, and dedication to creating safe environments make him an invaluable asset to any team seeking his expertise.

Jasmine Green, BS

Jasmine Green has been in the child adolescent behavioral health field for five years. She received  bachelor's degree in behavioral science at Wilmington University in 2017. Jasmine enjoys working with our youth because it gives her a sense of purpose in shaping our future leaders. Jasmine has an eight-year-old son who has also shown her ways and ideas on how to interact differently with different children. She enjoys spending time with her son, going out with her friends and dancing as a stress reliever. Jasmine is excited to continue working as a counselor with our youth, This time in a home setting so I can get to understand the child’s background and family dynamics.

Malik Charles, BSW, BA, Christian Counselor

 

Malik Charles graduated from Cairn University in 2012 and has been fervently working with adults and youth in the Social Work field ever since. In addition to authorship and musicianship, Malik has a deep passion for igniting the flames of inspiration and transformation in the lives of those who are ready to go to the next level. Malik believes that through hard work and consistency, and the practical application of timeless principles, anyone is able to move beyond the limitations of their past and step into the future that they’ve always wanted. Malik was ordained as an elder in 2013 and has been doing pastoral work for his current church since 2020. Malik has a passion to see major changes in the spiritual, emotional and financial lives of all he serves.

Paula Yorker CADDCT, CDCM, CDP

Christian Counselor at Mackie and Pammie, LLC

Paula is a Dementia Care Specialist has been certified as an Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, Certified Dementia Care Practitioner and Certified Dementia Care Manager, through the National Council
of Certified Dementia Practitioners. Paula holds an AT, in Theology, BPL in Pastoral Leadership and MRA in Religious Arts.

Paula believes strongly in trust, nonjudgmental behavior, sensitivity to others, their needs, and listening to both the words spoken and the emotional meaning they convey. She provides individual counseling, Family Counseling, Marital Restoration through Forgiveness”, Grief and Loss Counseling, Therapeutic Communication Counseling and Emotional Biblical Support & Counseling.

The Author of "What Do You Do In The Midst Of A Suddenly" is a firm believer that listening with a compassionate heart strategically positions one to act as a counselor via short or long term to help others resolve issues by "Listening" and offering comfort in times of stress, or crisis to those that are discouraged, hurting and mourning.

Albertine Pierre, MA

Albertine Pierre attended Bloomfield College in New Jersey where she double-majored in Psychology and Religion. Upon earning her bachelor's degree in Psychology, she matriculated at Fairleigh Dickinson University and is presently pursuing her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Albertine has experience in providing in-home behavioral therapy to youth and adolescents, as well as working with youth who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Deron School of New Jersey.

Albertine is passionate about counseling and through the use of a combination of evidence-based treatments, including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and Existential Therapy, she empowers her clients to take charge of their journey to wholeness and wellness.

​Olympia attended East Carolina University in North Carolina where she received a bachelor’s degree in social work. Olympia has experience in case management and counseling in residential facilities with adults and children. Olympia is currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical social work and working on getting an associate license upon graduation in a few months.


Olympia believes in providing a safe place for clients where they feel comfortable expressing their emotions and building rapport. Olympia uses a variety of therapeutic interventions to motivate clients and encourage them for the better.

 

Some interventions that Olympia prefer are Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused Therapy, Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and much more.

Timothy received his Associate's at Bergen Community College in 2009 and his Bachelor's at The New School Manhattan in 2022. Timothy has worked various jobs including being a tutor for a diverse group of students as well as providing direct care services for individuals with special needs at group homes. Timothy understands that everybody deserves care, respect and attention as well as a second chance. Timothy is happy to be assisting the individuals and families that we serve in getting the therapy they need at Mackie & Pammie, LLC.
